The Dawn of a New Day for Local Revenue

Adding more than $11 million of revenue to Montgomery County
Increasing tax revenue to help fund the Town of Florida, the Amsterdam School District, and Montgomery County as a whole.

The High River Energy Center will boost local revenue by more than $11 million over the next 20 years. Land used by the project will immediately pay 20 times more per acre in property taxes than is currently paid today. And approximately $200,000 will be contributed directly to the Town of Florida each year. It’s just one of the many benefits this project will bring to Montgomery County.
